Grant Opportunity: The Barney Family Foundation provides funding for nonprofit organizations with a focus on bettering education for children in grades K-8. Proposals should target a plausible and practical chain of events leading to tangible improvements to the life experiences of children. 

Eligibility: Nonprofit 501c(3) organizations are eligible to apply. Proposals from governmental bodies or tax-supported institutions that focus on services that fall within their normal responsibilities are not considered. 

Grant Amount: Awards range between $5,000 and $50,000. 

Grant Period: Awards have a grant period of one year. 

Application Deadline: Rolling deadline. Please note, however, that applications submitted after October 1 will be considered for funding in the subsequent year.
