Looking for something to do this weekend?

Maker Faire Rochester and the Empire State Maker Faire will be a livestreamed for free on the Maker Faire YouTube channel on October 16-17. Maker Faires are unique opportunities for creativity, curiosity, and science come together in amazing ways. According to Dale Dougherty “Through education and community outreach, we can offer the opportunity to make things to more people, but particularly children. They might find these opportunities at school but also at community centers, summer camps and science centers, or even at home.”

As the Greatest Show (and-Tell) on Earth, the livestream event will include demonstrations in 3D chocolate printing, DIY animatronics, robotics, character cosplay, and games for the whole family. Attendees and viewers will also learn become Citizen Scientists, build robots, and make community art. Click here to view the full program schedule.
