Promoting New York State Agriculture in School Cafeterias

Grant Opportunity: The New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets' Farm-to-School Program aims to promote the use of produce grown by New York State farmers in K-12 school cafeterias by funding the purchase of New York State farm products for use in school meal programs, agricultural and nutrition education, gardening activities and partnerships with local agricultural food businesses and farmers.
 
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include New York State K-12 School food authorities, charter schools, not-for-profit organizations and Indian tribal organizations.
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards will range between $25,000 and $100,000

  • Deadline for Questions: November 19th, 2021
  • Questions and Answers Posted: November 29th, 2021
  • Proposal Deadline: December 30th, 2021
