Congratulations to the Recompete Rochester coalition led by Rochesterworks, Inc. for their recent Strategy Development Grant award from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration! Brockport Research Institute writers helped prepare their proposal, “Recompete Rochester.”

Recompete Rochester aims to increase the employment rate among adults in Rochester, particularly among the Black and Hispanic or Latino communities, by addressing the underlying systemic issues that prevent access to well-paying, good-quality jobs. Read more about the coalition’s project here.
