It is our pleasure to announce some recent changes and additions to our Brockport Research Institute team!
Elizabeth Sodoma has been appointed as a full-time Management Trainee. She brings to this role a background in biomedical engineering and technical project management. She has worked on multiple projects at BRI including a National Science Foundation (NSF) S-STEM grant, a U.S. Department of Education PPOHA grant, and a NSF IUSE Level 3 evaluation.
Before joining BRI, Elizabeth was a researcher studying diseases affecting blood vessels in the brain. She received her Master's in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management from the University of Rochester, where she was introduced to grant writing. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her friends outdoors on their apple farm.
We are also excited to welcome Leslie Ennis as our new BRI Office Manager. Prior to working for BRI, Leslie was the practice manager of a local pediatric office for over 25 years. During her first several months in her new role, she has been busy learning and getting to know the rest of the BRI team!
Please join us in welcoming both Elizabeth and Leslie to their new roles!
