Aeleah Granger is an applied social psychology researcher with an emphasis on racial, gender, and religious prejudice and discrimination in criminal justice policy and law enforcement systems. Through her research, Aeleah has extensive experience with various research methods (e.g., online and in-person experiments, field research, correlational surveys, web scraping) and analytical approaches (e.g., structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, qualitative analysis), and has been deeply involved in each phase of the research process including study design and pre-registration, data collection and analysis, and dissemination of findings in the form of conference presentations, invited talks and columns, peer-reviewed publications, and evaluation reports. Aeleah has also won several grants to fund her research over the years. In addition to her work with BRI, Aeleah recently accepted a position as a postdoctoral fellow with the Center for Policing Equity where she will contribute to research aimed to reduce racial disparities in public safety settings.
