Christa has an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and certifications in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Bilingual Trauma-informed Integrated Care. She is passionate about supporting high quality education and culturally responsive, evidence-based healthcare services through community advocacy and grant writing and has worked as Christa is a behavioral therapist and mental health and trauma counselor. Christa joined BRI in 2021, bringing expertise in interdisciplinary program development, statistics, trauma and neurobiology, and behavioral healthcare. She has experience writing a variety of federal and state grants including NYSED Noyce, USDE Title III.
