Elizabeth Heavey is a Professor of Nursing at SUNY College at Brockport. Her work as an epidemiologist and advanced practice nurse includes pandemic modeling, infectious disease control, legal consultation, and addressing healthcare disparities. She is an award-winning online educator and the author of Statistics for Nursing. As a BRI associate, Elizabeth provides professional development workshops for educators and administrators in online learning and hybrid education platforms as well as addressing disparities in historically marginalized populations.
