Kaitlyn Evans is a Ph.D. student with a background in K12 education and educational research. She currently assists BRI as a grant writer and evaluator for several K12 and higher education grants, including the NYS Education Department 21st Century Community Learning Center grant and the U.S. DOE TRIO Student Support Services grant. Kaitlyn also supports preservice teachers as an adjunct professor and in-service teachers as a curriculum specialist, traveling across the country providing professional development workshops at various state and national conferences. Her research focuses on literacy from a place of equity and inclusion and she is well-versed in both quantitative and qualitative methodology. She has multiple publications and has co-edited special editions of scholarly journals across various educational topics.
