Marilyn Klotz began her career as a legislative assistant for economic policy for the House Majority Leader in the U.S. Congress. She moved to Rochester for a research associate position at the Center for Governmental Research and then accepted an opportunity as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at SUNY-Geneseo. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at Monroe Community College, SUNY-Brockport Metro Center, and Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work for BRI includes writing several successful grant applications for non-profit clients and assisting with NYSED STEP grant proposals. She also conducted the qualitative data analysis for an NSF I-TEST program evaluation.
