Maureen McCarthy is an Evaluator at BRI and brings experience in education and educational research. She currently evaluates grants including the NYS Education Department 21st Century Community Learning Centers and the National Science Foundation. She also draws on prior experience evaluating educational programs funded by private foundations. Maureen began her career as a middle school art teacher before transitioning into higher education with a focus on community engagement. Her primary research interests involve expanding higher education access for underrepresented student populations, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
