Melinda Davis is a Grant Writing Associate at BRI. Dr. Davis has a Ph.D. in Soil Microbiology and worked for over 20 years at the Idaho National Laboratory. She joined University of Idaho as the Director of STEM Education in where she was the primary point of contact for STEM programs from K to gray, she led research programs focused on rural education, served as evaluator on education projects, interfaced with partners, secured funding from federal agencies and industry, and developed STEM educational programming. After retiring from the University of Idaho in 2021, Dr. Davis started consulting with STEM programs and researchers, providing evaluation and grant writing services
