Roberta Benedict completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in the area of energy storage devices at SUNY Stony Brook, funded by the US Intelligence Community. She has over 10 years of research experience in nanotechnology, printed electronics, energy storage, and energy harvesting devices. As a result of this work she published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and patent submissions. Roberta is an adjunct faculty member in the Chemical Engineering department at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Since joining BRI, she has worked on multiple NSF grants as a writer and consultant, and as an evaluator for Math & Science Partnership grant programs and 21st CCLC grant programs.
