Education: Education: PhD Social Work/Psychology, MS Higher Education Administration, Social Work, and Psychology, University of Michigan.

Sam has been a Program Research & Evaluation Specialist with Brockport Research Institute since 2024, evaluating educational and mental health projects funded by NIH and the US Department of education. She has over two decades of experience in research and evaluation roles, and over 15 years of experience teaching in higher education. In addition to her Program Research & Evaluation Specialist role, she is an adjunct instructor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn where she teaches quantitative research methods, statistics, and program planning and evaluation.
