Director of Grants

Education: BA, History; BA, Anthropology; MS, Library and Information Science

Stephanie Barrett is the Director of Grants at BRI. Since joining BRI as an associate in 2019, she has helped BRI clients secure over $10 million in grant funding. Agencies she has been successful with include the National Science Foundation, United States Department of Education, U.S. Economic Development Administration, Department of Justice, Department of Labor, New York State Department of Education, New York State Office of Mental Health, and the Balfour Foundation. Stephanie has experience in a wide variety of areas including museums, archaeology, archives, and libraries through her previous work in cultural resource management and as an academic librarian at the University of Rochester. She is also well-versed in green energy and sustainability through her earlier work as a LEED Consultant and a program coordinator in support of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's New Construction Program (NYSERDA NCP).
