Job Description: Program Research and Evaluation Specialist

Brockport Research Institute is now accepting applications for Program Evaluation Associates to work with K-12, higher education, and not-for-profit clients. Project-based work is mostly conducted remotely, with occasional meetings and on-site observations. Projects range from short-term (weeks) to long-term commitments of a year or more. Typically 5-20 hours per week, depending on the project. Preference given to applicants residing in the Finger Lakes, mid-Hudson, Western New York, and New York City regions.  

Qualifications

Experience in analysis and reporting of quantitative and/or qualitative data and prior research or evaluation experience are preferred. Preference given to individuals with a post-graduate degree in education or STEM.  Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized with good attention to detail, strong work ethic, ownership orientation; excellent interpersonal communication on video or telephone calls; high level of self-motivation; creativity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical assistance and support for employees and contractors
  • Data entry
  • Contracts
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Human Resource support
  • A variety of administrative/clerical duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

  • Ability to prioritize
  • Highly organized
  • Strong written and verbal communications are a must
  • Adaptability and able to work independently
  • General computer skills
  • Proficiency with regular office software, i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, QuickBooks

 

Desired Qualifications:

Associates degree preferred, 1-2 years’ job-related experience
