Celebrating Cultural Diversity

With Dr. Marcie Prinzi, Professor at SUNY Geneseo

Today’s schools have the unique pleasure of representing a wide variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Supporting youth’s social development includes, finding authentic and meaningful ways to celebrate culture, embrace multilingualism, and promote language learning. In this workshop, we will explore what strategies, tools, and resources contribute to a culture where diversity is celebrated and children thrive.
