Grant opportunity: The New York State Pollution Prevention Institute (Sponsored by the Department of Environmental Conservation and the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at the Rochester Institute of Technology) is now accepting proposals for its Community Grants Program. This program funds projects that raise awareness about pollution prevention and lead to the implementation of local pollution prevention practices.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include New York State nonprofit community organizations and local government agencies.
Grant Amount and Grant Period: The maximum awarded is $20,000 with a one-year grant period.
Grant Deadline: April 18th, 2025
