Grant opportunity: The Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation's Humanities Program aims to provide broad support to the humanities. This grant program will provide support for projects that address the concerns of the studia humanitatis: a humanistic education rooted in the great traditions of the past; the formation of human beings according to cultural, moral, and aesthetic ideals derived from that past; and the ongoing debate over how these ideals may best be conceived and realized.
Projects in the following areas are accepted:
- History
- Archaeology
- Literature
- Languages
- Philosophy
- Ethics
- Comparative religion
- The history, criticism, and theory of the arts
- Areas of the social sciences that overlap with the humanities
Eligibility: Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations based in the United States or organizations utilizing a U.S. fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status are eligible to apply.
Grant Period: Grant periods for awards are typically one year.
Application Deadline: Applications are received on a rolling basis.
