Funding for Professional Development for Teachers

Grant opportunity: The McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation's Teacher Development Grant Program provides funding for K12 teachers to develop and implement innovative strategies that support critical inquiry in the classroom. 

Eligibility: Eligible applicants include individuals or teams of teachers employed in public or private K12 schools. 

Grant Amount and Grant Period: The maximum grant award is $10,000 per year over a two-year grant period for a maximum of $20,000. 

Important Dates: 

  • January 15th, 2026: Grant application opens
  • April 15th, 2026: Applications due (or at maximum capacity of 200 submissions)
