Financial Assistance for Program Partnerships with the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Grant opportunity: The New York State Office of Children and Family Services is now accepting solicitations of interest for its Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) funding opportunity. This program provides financial assistance for organizations to participate in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library as Program Partners or for established Program Partners to increase their enrollment in DPIL. 

Eligibility: Eligible applicants include New York State 501(c)(3) libraries, public library system, or not-for-profit organizations, New York school districts, and board of cooperative educational services (BOCES). Applicants must be authorized to do business in the State of New York. 

Grant Amount and Grant Period: The maximum award is $50,000 with a grant period of one year. 

Important Dates: 

  • March 26th, 2026: Deadline for questions
  • April 9th, 2026: Answers to submitted questions posted
  • April 30th, 2026: Application Deadline
