Opportunity: Rising high school Seniors (currently in grade 11) living in the Southern Tier are invited to apply for an unpaid research experience at Corning Incorporated. The application window for the 2021 Office of STEM Summer Science Research Experience is now open to students with a demonstrated interest in STEM subjects to learn and apply skills in a real-world setting. The 6-week summer research opportunity will take place from July 12- August 20, 2021.

Important Dates: Full applications must be emailed to OfficeOfSTEM@corning.com by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 2, 2021. Paper applications and/or late entries will not be accepted.

• Finalists will be invited to a mandatory virtual prep meeting on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
• Finalists will also be invited for virtual interviews with the selection committee the week of April 26- 30, 2021.
