JumpstARTS Grants for Arts and Cultural Organizations in Monroe County

Grant Opportunity: The JumpstARTS Grant Program will provide support to small to mid-sized arts and cultural organizations located in Monroe County, New York that have been effected by the COVID-19 pandemic and that have been largely ineligible for other sources of relief funding. Funds administered through this program will be used to cover expenses incurred between March 20, 2020, and June 18, 2021 that have not already been reimbursed through other CARES Act funding.

Eligibility: Nonprofit, arts and cultural entities or corporations or limited liability companies involved in the arts and culture sector located in Monroe County with an operating budget under $2,000,000 are eligible to apply. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate a significant impact due to COVID and must not have received a previous grant through Fast Forward Monroe.

Grant Amount/ Grant Period: 

  • Organizations with a 2019 Operating Budget Below $50,000 can receive a maximum grant amount of $5,000
  • Organizations with a 2019 Operating Budget Between $50,000 and $99,999 can receive a maximum grant amount of $10,000
  • Organizations with a 2019 Operating Budget Between $100,000 and $2,000,000 can receive a maximum grant amount of $20,000
