Grant Opportunity: The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Innovation Stronger Economy (RISE) Grant program provides funding for rural jobs accelerator partnerships to engage in activities that accelerate the growth of new businesses and jobs, support local industries, and maximize the use of local productive assets in low-income rural areas.

 

Eligibility: Partnerships consisting of nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, units of state entities, tribal entities, and/or public entities are eligible to apply. Applicants must have expertise in delivering economic and job training programs.

 

Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards range between $500, 000 and $2,000,000. The grant period is four years.
