Grant Opportunity: The National Park Service's Underrepresented Communities grant provides funding for the surveying, inventory, and designation of new historical properties within the National Register of Historic Places and the National Historic Landmarks among underrepresented communities.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include Tribal Historic Preservation Offices, Federally Recognized Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Villages/Corporations, Native Hawaiian Organizations, State Historic Preservation Offices, and units of local government.
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards will range between $15,000 and $75, 0000 and projects will take place between October 2021 and October 2022.
