We are excited to share that Dr. Kelley Madden, Director of Evaluations at Brockport Research Institute, was recently awarded 2022 Harriet Susskind-Rosenblum Advocate's Spirit Award from the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. This annual award honors those who have advocated for breast cancer research and awareness in the Rochester community.

 

Her research expanded current knowledge of the relationship between stress and breast cancer growth. She is also an advocate for breast cancer survivors, creating a training program to prepare survivors to be reviewers in scientific projects and settings.

 

The award was presented to Dr. Madden at the coalition's ACTober kick-off event on September 30th. Congratulations again to Dr. Madden for this well-deserved awrd! View the full award interview below.
