Grant Opportunity: In order to address the growing opioid crisis as well as the need for substance use disorder (SUD) education among clinicians, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)'s Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (ISTP) will provide funding for organizations to develop and implement training programs for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, health service psychologists, counselors, nurses, and/or social workers. These full-time training programs will train these healthcare practitioners to provide care for those in need of mental health and SUD prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
 
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include entities with a demonstrated record of providing training for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, health service psychologists, counselors, nurses and/or social workers such as mental health centers, rural health clinics, or teaching health centers.
 
Grant Amount and Period: The maximum award amount is $515, 000 annually with a grant period of five years between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2028.
