Supporting Youth Programming

Grant Opportunity: Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and the Foot Locker Foundation are now accepting proposals for their Foot Locker Foundation Community Empowerment Program. This grant provides support for nonprofits that provide services such as health and wellness, education and life skills, mentoring, and career development programs for youth.

Proposals are accepted in the two following tracks:

  • Grants to support and grow current youth programming or establish new programming
  • Grants for capital improvement projects that will enhance the impact of youth programming.

Eligibility: Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that primarily serve youth in disadvantaged communities in the following cities are eligible to apply:

  • Atlanta, GA
  • Baltimore, MD
  • Chicago, IL
  • Dallas, TX
  • Detroit, MI
  • Houston, TX
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • New York City, NY
  • Newark, NJ
  • Oakland, CA
  • Philadelphia, PA
  • San Francisco, CA
  • Washington, DC

Grant Amount and Grant Period: All awards will have a grant period of one year. Program grants will range between $25,000 to $75,000 while capital improvement grants will range between $25,000 to $100,000.
