In partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the National Park Services’ Save America’s Treasures Grant program provides funding to support preservation and/or conservation work on nationally significant properties and collections, particularly those that are threatened or endangered.
Proposals are accepted in two categories.

Preservation Projects will support conservation efforts in properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places for national significance or designated a National Historic Landmark.

Collections Projects will serve artifacts, museum collections, documents, sculptures, and other works of art.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include units of state or local government, independent school districts, institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations, and Native American organizations and governments.
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards will range between $125,000 and $750,000 for Preservation grants and $25,000 and $75,000 for Collections grants. The easement period will vary based on the final grant amount. To see the full grant period breakdown, click here.
