Grant opportunity: The National Science Foundation’s Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable Open Science (FAIROS) grant provides funding for activities that improve open science infrastructure with consideration to findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable (FAIR) principles. Awards from this solicitation, in particular, will focus on projects that address common underlying multidisciplinary research data management and sharing challenges.
Grants are administered the following tracks:

Disciplinary Improvement Grants will focus on targeted scientific communities.

Cross-Cutting Improvement Grants will apply to many or most scientific disciplines.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include institutions of higher education, nonprofit nonacademic organizations, tribal nations, and other Federal Agencies and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers.
Grant Amount and Grant Period: A maximum of $200,000 per year over a three-year period will be awarded.
